Jarvis/Kaplan Cups Capping Ceremony

With the upcoming national interprovincial tournament to be held in Durban from the 8th to 13th August, Central Gauteng Squash have selected their representatives. A ‘capping ceremony’ was held at The Country Club Johannesburg to award provincial colours to those selected. This ceremony has become a tradition at Central Gauteng Squash for the past few years and honours the players selected. In addition a number of distinguished guests and former Springboks are invited to add to the occasion. Previous Springboks at the function included David Quail, Glenn Whittaker, Paul Symonds and Mike Tootill. Master of Ceremonies, Paul Atkinson, announced the selected players and awarded blazers and ties. A special word of thanks was made to the major sponsor, Konica Minolta, who was represented by Paul Symonds.
