It is felt that all players should enjoy a better playing experience by having their games marked/refereed by someone who is qualified. To this end a bonus system has been developed to encourage all players to qualify as markers/referees.
Bonus points for refereeing will be awarded for 2 years in the event of a player passing the WSO Level-0 course for the first time (i.e. the Level-0 course is only available to do once per player) and will be awarded for three years in the event of a player doing for the first time or repeating either a face-to-face refereeing refresher course or the WSO Introductory Level course (which does come at a small cost to the player).
