2023 Joburg Squash & Joburg Masters Squash Doubles League
Joburg Squash and Joburg Masters Squash will be introducing a doubles league on Wednesday night at Country Club Jhb (Auckland Park) from 18:00-21:00 starting 03 May 2023.
Cost: R50 per pairing per night.
Format: Round Robin.
It is recommended that ‘pairings’ consist of 3 players to cater for injuries, meetings and other unforeseen circumstances.
Pairings will be placed in sections according to their strength to ensure competitive matches.
Men’s, ladies’ or mixed pairings will all be combined.

Format
It was decided that 8 teams of 4 would be the best format. Northcliff and Chamber Exiles would be the venues for the league. All of the teams will be playing at one venue each night.
Teams will find their own reserves should a player not be able to play on the night.
Both clubs have generators in the event of load shedding.
Jade, Ginny, Elize and Kalinka will place the ladies into teams by 13 March 2023 and send the lists to Gary Plumstead email: JoburgSquash@gmail.com
League will start on 27 March 2023.
R600 per person.
Gary Plumstead will form a Ladies’ League WhatsApp Group.

Transfer Forms
Any Joburg Squash League Player who wishes to change clubs must complete this form and submit it to Joburg Squash (e-mail: JoburgSquash@gmail.com ) for approval before playing for his/her new club. In the case of players who played league in the previous season the application should be submitted by the 20 February 2023. A player applying late must include a letter giving reasons why his/her late application should be considered by Joburg Squash. Late applications, if approved may attract penalties.
